CIO-Comm.
Inside the European IT Community
Values
Independence
CIO-Comm. events are organised and conducted by Programme Committees composed of CIOs and top IT managers from different sectors in the business world and national economies.
The working days are characterised by complete independence from brands, neutrality and transparency. The absence of commercial and marketing activities by the companies representing ICT vendors generates an extremely professional atmosphere free from any advertising influence and formal ties.
Methodology
Special attention is paid by the organisers to the methodology used for the efficiency of the working sessions and the quality of the take-aways.
Exclusivity
Participation in the CIO-Comm. seminars is restricted and limited to the managers of medium-large companies and public administration and the top managers of IT vendors, selected and invited by the organisation. The events are held behind closed doors without any media presence.
Contents
The topics on the agenda are defined by the Programme Committees, in total autonomy.
The take-aways produced at each meeting are the result of contributions from all participants to the discussion in the workshops.
Cross-fertilization
The exchange of ideas and best practices is encouraged across all areas; from the participants’ economic sectors and professional responsibilities through to their role (user/vendor) and country of origin.
Transparency
All CIO-Comm. initiatives are self-funded through attendance fees. The bulk of the costs are covered by vendor companies. Special attention is given to representatives of public administrations.
CIO-Comm. “Charter of Value”
is made available to Community members.
